Outstanding Service on a Drain Issue Apr 29, 2025

Jack did an outstanding service on a challenging drain issue. The courtyard drain was not draining, and we had had standing water. Jack took it as a challenge and succeeded in correcting the issue. He was professional, polite, and honest. He was also assisted by Wes, and ditto for him as well. I liked the service so much I signed up for their maintenance plan. The hosts at 98.9 WORD radio were right, Benjamin Franklin was the right company to call.

We needed to have our sewer line from our house to the connection with the city replaced. The existing line had settled in a couple of places, so sewage was not moving through like it should. Ben Franklin did an excellent job in replacing the line. Unfortunately for us, our line runs under our driveway, so the project required cement to be removed and then replaced. The company did a fine job in coordinating the entire project. Quite pleased with how it all turned out.

Sam exceeded expectations when helping us assess and address a leak issue from our main bathroom to our neighbor’s condo unit. For the first visit, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was able to dispatch him within a few hours of calling and gave a 30-minute pre-arrival call. Sam was extremely polite and personable. He asked great questions to get to the root of the leak issue and investigated all avenues. He was willing to talk with my neighbor and share the overview and recommendation for next steps. He documented the assessment visit and the repair quote in a clear and detailed manner. When he returned for the repair work, he was able to check in the ceiling of our neighbor’s unit and worked well with the 3rd party contractors present to open the ceiling and gave recommendations on how to get to the root of the leak. Sam described his findings, thought process, and next steps along the way so that I was always able to understand and trusted his work. I’m confident in the repair he made and any other recommendations he gave. I very much appreciate the thorough documentation of work, including pictures. I will definitely go with Sam and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for future plumbing work. From the scheduling experience all the way through the follow-up documentation - I am impressed. Thank you!

Our main water line out of service due to an aged galvanized fitting with dark approaching, we called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. We were moved to the next available technician and within an hour we had a very qualified young man on site. He assessed the problem and offered several repair options. We discussed each and decided on a course of action. The repairman had everything (parts and tools) in hand and the repair was made promptly. Very satisfied with the process.

I am elated with the prompt, professional, and personable service we just received from Garrett M. from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in Greenville. I called, and just about 5 hours later—on a Saturday—Garrett M. was here to assess our situation about an old leaky waterless hot water heater we have. And we live about 30 miles or so from Greenville! He gave us the diagnosis, explained all our options, and listened so very intently to our decisions. His genuine kindness and attention are most appreciated as we are definitely senior citizens, and it is often difficult to communicate our concerns. He heard our concerns as explaining rather than complaining. We are incredibly grateful for the prompt service and great deal we are getting to fix our problem. What a blessing! And the lady at their office, Allison, took my call with such charm and cheer on a Saturday! This is quite amazing. And we are most delighted!

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and my tech was Eric Charon. First of all, they were very fast to come out. Eric was awesome; he helped me layout the whole hole tank and marked it because I had no clue where it was. He told me exactly what to expect and how it was going to be done. Eric was very friendly and professional in his time with me. Overall, I am very pleased with the service and price.
